Interactive Diligence

Geopressured prospect & subsurface tools.

Worksheets, subsurface log evaluation tables, and mathematical estimators to evaluate produced water heat, dissolved methane potential, and geological control.

Tool 1: Geopressured Project Brief

Check the diligence items established for your target prospect. This worksheet formats your notes into an operational briefing for landmen, legal counsel, and technical teams.

Tool 2: Geopressured Energy & Dissolved Methane Estimator

Geopressured geothermal reservoirs produce hot pressurized brines with dissolved natural gas. Evaluate the theoretical thermal heat rate, electric potential, and co-produced gas volume based on thermodynamic equations:

Thermal Heat Rate: Q_dot = m_dot * c_p * delta_T
Net Electric Capacity: P_e = Q_dot * eta
Dissolved Gas Rate: V_gas = Q_brine * GOR

In this calculator, 1 barrel of brine is approximately 350 pounds (158.76 kg), and water specific heat capacity is 4.184 kJ/(kg K). Net electric capacity assumes an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) binary power generator with typical conversion efficiency (8% to 14%). Gas-to-oil/water ratio (GOR) measures standard cubic feet of dissolved methane per barrel of water (scf/bbl).

Tool 3: Subsurface Log & Seismic Prospect Evaluator

Catalog historical control points across your target prospect. Track deep formation tops, logged bottom-hole temperatures, net sand thickness, and seismic horizon ties before drilling new wells:
